Assessment takes place at locations and times to suit learners and throughout Dorset and Surrounding Counties.
Learners may start at any time. The courses are flexible to suit all learners; support is available for learners who have additional needs.
Time scales for the courses will depend on funding requirements although registration on City and Guilds and ILM courses run for 3 years.
QCF qualifications can be taken up as a whole qualification not too dissimilar to the way an NVQ was built unit by unit, or taken as one unit at a time of your choice, the system for the new QCF framework for qualifications can be difficult to explain, therefore its advisable you speak to a representative of Wessex Training to explain the process correctly to you.
Units can be bought across different subjects and levels and can sometimes be used to build a qualification eventually.
There are full Qualifications that we offer under the new QCF award system, these can be obtained as a stand alone qualification or as part of an apprenticeship (see apprenticeship section for more details)
